A new discovery at the weekend. Victory Wood, which has amazing views across the estuary.
No need for a foraging bag this time as the wood is still just saplings – planted to commemorate the bicentenary of the Battle of Trafalgar.
The land here is managed by the Woodland Trust.
Drove back to Faversham via Monkshill Farm. Definitely a contender for my list of best tea shops in Kent survey. The café would make a lovely venue for a flower arranging workshop …
Until next time, happy flowers! Julie
