No flowers for me this Mother’s Day. But I did get a box of Roses.
Taking advantage of the spring sunshine, we followed the tourist trail and drove into Canterbury for the day. We spent an hour or so at the Canterbury Heritage Museum, with our free tickets from the Big Kent Weekend and in the afternoon went punting on the River Stour.
If you were lucky enough to receive flowers, how are they doing? Don’t forget to change the water in your vase and re-cut your flower stems. Place your flowers where you can enjoy them, but out of direct sunlight and if possible in a cool room.
I’d love to hear about your Mother’s Day adventures. Leave me a comment below.
Until next time, happy flowers! Julie
