Come and join me for a relaxing afternoon of crafting - bring a neighbour, or come on your own and meet some new people.

These workshops do not require any previous arts/craft experience and are aimed at elderly people. Some might welcome coming along with a younger friend or relative, neighbour or perhaps carer, to escort them to enjoy this fun floral session for a bit of company to boost their wellbeing!

Julie Davies is one of the Lapwing Project Artists who has recently trained in ‘arts for dementia and arts for mental health wellbeing’ funded the NHS Canterbury and Coastal Clinical Commissioning Group, and Arts Council England organised by AgeUK Canterbury.

Julie ran a pilot of these sessions earlier this year at AgeUK, Faversham.

The sessions will be on the ground floor in the Jubliee Room with wheelchair access.
