Are you ready for Christmas? I’m just about there. I’ve decided on a new tradition – sending New Year’s cards instead of Christmas greetings … While I get on with writing my cards, here are four last minute Christmas decorating ideas for you.
Decorating with cranberries
You’ve bought fresh cranberries – let’s face it cranberry sauce out of a jar is much easier. Use your surplus supplies to create a great table centrepiece in a glass jar.
Decorating your mantelpiece
Have you got a mirror or a picture hanging above your mantelpiece? If so, take it down and suspended a strong branch there instead and use it as the basis for a modern interpretation of Christmas decorating.
Christmas door wreath
This is a great project for your front door, or laid flat as a table centrepiece. You might already have a dried willow wreath in your loft, or you could make one using fresh willow stems.
Something light and bright
Jazz up some votives and jam jars – a great idea for your breakfast table.
If you liked these clips you might also enjoy a couple of my blog posts from last year.
Until next time, happy flowers!
