A week or so ago I drove over to meet Farah of Georgie Baldwin Designs. Farah had booked a one to one flower arranging workshop, to refresh her skills. We’ve previously met at class and Farah thought she was ready to break the rules and explore a less formal way with flowers.
We had a great morning together, as you can see from the bouquet that Farah made.
Farah wrote me a lovely note afterwards. It said: “having taught me the rules of floristry Julie has spent a class throwing them away and teaching me to embrace design. Excellent!”
If you’ve been inspired by Farah’s kind words and have always wanted to create your own flower arrangements, but are not sure what you’re doing, I’ve got news. I’ll be teaching a half day workshop at the “pop up” Westwell Flower School this week – on Wednesday 20 May.
You can book your place by clicking this link – I’d love to see you
Keeping in touch:
Flowers at The Freewheel – a three week flower arranging course
Pimms at Belmont House – a garden tour and flower crown workshop
Until next time, happy flowers!
